Biography
Kristin Rubio received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas, San Antonio in 2005. She also attended NASA's Preservice Teacher Institute where she developed a passion for teaching math and science in the early years of development. She has certifications in both Early Childhood-4th grade Elementary Education and ESL. In 2015, Mrs. Rubio was recognized by the San Antonio Association for the Education of Young Children as Teacher of the Year.
Since 2006, Mrs. Rubio has taught Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Second Grade. She finds true joy in supporting young students as they learn to navigate the world independently, develop fundamental skills, and gain confidence as lifelong learners. She enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two wonderful adventurous children.
