Principal's Message

Welcome to EKHLA,

Since its inception in 2013, the Eleanor Kolitz Hebrew Language Academy has been committed to educating and preparing confident students through high academic and behavior standards, who are grounded in Hebrew language and Israeli culture.  I am proud to lead a team of faculty and staff who are all professionally committed to this EKHLA mission and have a passion for working with children.
Education has the transformative power to change lives. I believe learning is achieved by holding a standard of excellence for all to meet, while providing a warm and nurturing environment in which our students will succeed.  I am excited to be a part of our students’ educational experiences and provide them all with opportunities that serve them today and in the future.

The culture of academic excellence at EKHLA is having an amazing impact on all of our students.  This, coupled with the teachings of our Core Values of Support, Passion, Integrity and Honesty, Curiosity and Creativity,  and Repairing the World, are creating the leaders of tomorrow with skills and strength of character needed in the global community. I am honored to be a part of their journey.

Come grow with us!
Kathryn Cohen
